Heal from trauma

Traumatic events don’t have to define who you are or how you live: you can get past your past! Whether you’ve had adverse experiences in childhood, abusive relationships, or other traumatic events, healing from the effects of trauma and moving on is possible.

It might be hard to believe, but you can be free of the hurts and the patterns they cause, opening the door to regaining your true self. We’ll use powerful, evidence-based tools that effectively activate your own system to heal. Integrating various trauma-focused modes, we will work together to lessen the effects left on your system and release the pain you’ve carried.

Start by building a better relationship with yourself

When we are hard on ourselves and have a habit of expecting perfection, our inner critic works overtime. Learning to have acceptance and self-compassion can be a revelation, setting us free to be joyfully who we are, flaws and all.

Starting with greater self-acceptance, we build from there. Developing your insight can help you find and use your voice to express your true self and rediscover your place in the world.

Improve relationships with others

Whatever our age or stage in life, learning better interpersonal communication skills will make a world of difference in partnerships, friendships, family connections, and work life.

Using mindfulness and compassionate communication can be make profound and positive impacts in our relationships, allowing for deeper understanding and connection than we thought possible.

Refining our self-awareness leads to improved regulation, greater empathy and perspective, clearer communication, and greater success finding solutions that meet your own needs and others’.
