With an emphasis on building inner and outer resources and finding self-compassion, she has helped her clients empower themselves to heal from childhood trauma, severe traumatic incidents, overwhelming life stressors, grief, depression, anxiety, and to find well-being through more healthful ways to solve life problems.
Melissa has a deep commitment to social change, equity, and justice. She is an ally who welcomes and supports personal growth and healing in teens and adults of any race, ethnicity, age, ability, nationality, socioeconomic status, gender, religion, and sexual orientation.
When out of the office, Melissa is found tending her garden, cooking, hiking, kayaking, bird watching, practicing yoga, or swapping witticisms with her family.
